Israel will cut water prices by 10
percent at the start of 2015, the Infrastructure, Energy and
Water Ministry said today.
The reduction will bring the total decline in water prices
in the past year to more than 15 percent, the ministry said in
an e-mailed statement.
The price cut is partly the result of better efficiency in
the water companies, the ministry said. Infrastructure, Energy
and Water Minister Silvan Shalom said it’s “part of a wider
decrease” expected in the coming year.
